For most of the year, the Orchid Lodge Samui operates as a full-service bed & breakfast, offering a tropical boutique getaway for guests seeking a cozy, relaxed, and personalized experience.

The Retreats at Orchid Lodge are specially curated, fully customized, and all-inclusive experiences for women of all ages who are looking for a relaxing, uplifting, and restorative tropical getaway.
With an emphasis on community, conversations, and Christian fellowship, participants will engage with an intimate small group of like-minded women who are also seeking rest, renewal, realignment, reconnection, and refreshment.
Our retreats incorporate the spiritual disciplines of prayer, worship, Bible study, sabbath, and quiet time with God. We welcome women at any stage in her faith journey who may have a desire to deepen or to pursue a relationship with God and to explore about the teachings of Jesus in a safe, supportive, and welcoming space among other women pursuing the same.
Our Christian ministry at Orchid Lodge Samui was established in 2023.
The vision for our ministry is to build the body of Christ and to expand the Kingdom of God in Koh Samui and beyond. We are a hub of Christian-based fellowship activity, where people of all backgrounds -- believers and non-believers -- can come together and interact.
The Orchid Lodge Samui hosts a regular weekly women’s Bible study for Koh Samui residents who are seeking Christian female fellowship. We also welcome guests and travelers passing through to join us at any time.
We also host a monthly poolside worship music nights open to men and women. In the very near future, we will launch a home church, open to anyone on the island who desires to commune with the family of Christ and to be part of a Christian faith-based congregation.

Kristin is the heart and soul behind Orchid Lodge Samui. With her warm smile and welcoming spirit, she personally interacts with all of her guests and makes it her mission to ensure that everyone feels acknowledged, cared for, and fully at ease.
Kristin's passions go far beyond hospitality. She also leads our vibrant women’s ministry, where she serves and disciples other women into deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. She truly lights up when she’s helping women to live healthy, fruitful, and purposeful lives that are in alignment with God's design.
With a gift for encouragement and a love for real personal connection, Kristin creates an unforgettable experience for all of her guests.

Mama is our loyal feline and catriarch. Although she doesn’t like to be cuddled, she loves sitting by your feet, following you around, and just simply being near people. She is our unofficial security guard, as she likes to sit by the front gate or on the entrance walkway to observe guests coming in and out, but her security effectiveness is highly questionable. She is the Mama to Daisy, which is how she got her name (clever, we know).

Daisy is 3.5kgs of pure ginger cuteness and mischievousness. She is sweet, gentle, and loves attention and people. She’s our little hunter girl who loves to chase geckos, squirrels, flying insects, and anything else that moves. Although we provide her with plenty of fresh water, she seems to prefer drinking water out of the swimming pool. Daisy is super friendly with guests, talkative, and loves to cuddle.

The Orchid Lodge Samui is in the quieter southeast region of the island away from the crowds and traffic. We are located between the popular beach town of Lamai and the small local Thai village of Hua Thanon.
The Orchid Lodge Samui is tucked away on a hill in a private residential area, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. Our surroundings are very quiet and peaceful, and there is no outside street traffic, allowing the property to remain private, but with easy access to the main road at the bottom of the hill.

We strongly advise our individual booking guests to use some form of transportation for getting around (motorbike, car, or taxi), as the hill to our property may be quite challenging for some guests to walk.
Just let us know your needs and we can help to coordinate your preferred mode of transportation. The Grab & InDrive rideshare applications are available for calling your own taxi.
There is free guest parking in front of the property.
For your convenience, at the bottom of the hill, there is a self-service laundromat, a Tops Daily convenience store, an ATM machine, a currency exchange booth, and several restaurant options.
