Security cameras are used throughout the premises, and anyone on our property may be recorded at any time.
Check-in
Our standard check-in time is after 3:00 pm. An earlier check-in may be possible, subject to availability, and may incur an additional fee.
Check-out
Our standard check-out time is at (or before) 11:00 am. A later check-out may be possible, subject to availability, and may incur an additional fee.
Currency
Prices quoted are in Thai Baht, and payments can only be made in Thai Baht unless otherwise agreed with the owner.
Damages
During your stay, please treat the house (and all of its equipment, linens, and furniture) with care. If you cause any damages, stains, or breakages, please let us know as soon as possible. The guest is financially responsible for any damage to the property, lodge, and its items.
Electricity
The room rate is inclusive of electricity charges. However, to help us conserve energy, please turn off lights and air-conditioning whenever you leave. Failure to do so may result in an additional fee.
Housekeeping
Housekeeping and room freshening services are provided daily. If you wish to skip housekeeping service on a particular day, please let us know.
Linens & Towels
Since we operate like a normal residence, in order to eliminate unnecessary laundry, bed linens, bath towels, and pool towels will be changed only upon guest request or as needed.
Minimum age (12+)
Due to the calm, quiet, and peaceful atmosphere of Orchid Lodge Samui, and the lack of child-focused activities on our premises, our property is not well suited for families with young children. We welcome guests ages 12+.
No smoking
We are a strictly non-smoking property. Smoking is only allowed in the designated area next to the covered parking, outside of the property gates.
No drugs allowed
The use of recreational drugs of any kind is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. Violation of this policy may result in action by the Thai police and a fine of 15,000 THB.
No unregistered guests
We take the safety and security of our guests very seriously. Only registered guests with valid bookings are allowed to enter the property. Any guest who wishes to bring a visitor to the property must receive prior approval from the owner and must provide valid identification for the visitor. Orchid Lodge Samui reserves the right to deny any visitor requests. Any guest found in violation of this policy will be subject to a fine of 15,000 THB and may be asked to leave the property.
Noise
Since Orchid Lodge Samui is a calm and peaceful place of rest and relaxation, please be mindful of any loud noises, music, or activities that could create a disturbance for other guests.
Parking
There is free street parking for guests of Orchid Lodge Samui. You may park anywhere on the gravel along the front side of the property. Please do not park in the covered parking area, as this is reserved for the owner and staff. Orchid Lodge Samui is not responsible for any damage to your vehicle while parked in the parking area.
Payment
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking unless an alternate agreement has been made with the owner. We only accept Visa and MasterCard, and due to the processing fees, credit card payments will incur a 5% surcharge per transaction. If you prefer to pay by another method, we also accept THB cash, Thai bank transfer, or Wise (no surcharges).
Personal information
Orchid Lodge Samui will collect your personal data only for private use related to your booking. Upon check-in, we will collect the passport details for all guests, as required by Thai immigration authorities.
Pets and animals
Guests are not allowed to bring any pets or animals to the property. There are two very friendly cats that live on the property, but they are strictly outdoor cats. Please do not allow them inside your room.
Pool
There is no lifeguard at the pool, so guests assume all responsibility for their own safety in or around the pool. Additionally, to maintain a calm and relaxing poolside atmosphere for all guests, no jumping, running, splashing, or loud noises, please.
Rates & fees
Rates quoted are per house, per night (unless otherwise specified), subject to availability, and inclusive of government taxes.
Service charge
Service charges are not included in the rate, and tips/gratuities to the staff are at your discretion (and sincerely appreciated).
Valuables
There is an electronic safe located in the bedroom closet. Orchid Lodge Samui and our staff accept no responsibility for loss or damage of valuables on the property.
